Both are dark with two white bars and orange-yellow fins. Clark's Anemonefish has a white band around the base of its tail, just before the fin, and an orange-yellow belly and snout. Orange-fin Anemonefish has no white at the tail base -- only the two bars -- and a dark brown flank edged with yellow, with bright orange fins.

Both are orange and black with a white bar behind the eye. Cinnamon Clownfish has only that one bar, wide and sometimes tinged blue, on a red-orange body with dark mahogany flanks, and its pelvic and anal fins are black. Clark's Anemonefish has a second white bar across the middle of the body, a white band at the base of the tail, and an orange-yellow tail.
